I have a project since october 2009. I want to create a piece inside a suitcase.
I asked myself why choose such object as a set for puppets.
Because suitcases are a strong symbol around the world. They remind me of travels, escapes, memories.. Things we chose to bring with us to help us remember the past.
This reflection bring me back to my own memories, at least to my family's.
Because they all escaped from their home to go somewhere unknown, the only ting they all had in
common was the suitcases.
Everyone on the planet must have a remembrance of suitcases.
That was the starting point for this piece.
The other desire I had for this piece was to work with objects and music, only.
Objects because a suitcase is full of objects..
And music because I would like this show to be understandable anywhere, and music often speaks
clearer than words.
